She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Rose and Gracie Rose (Hall); her son James Michael Vance; her brothers, Hubert Rose and Jack Rose; and her sister-in-law Nancy Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Flaherty (Michael) of Bellville, Janie Britton (Turk) of Bellville, Joseph Vance (Deb) of Bellville and Jennifer Spayde (Brett) of Bellville; her daughter-in-law Penny Vance of Bellville; her grandchildren, Randall Schwan, Kimberly Queen, Bethany Hanners, Rose Flaherty of Cassie Adams, J. R, Vance, Nathan Harry, Joshua Vance, Brandy Vance, Chelsea Conover and Danielle Cole; and her siblings, Thomas Rose of Ypsilanti and Carol Burns of Dexter. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, with two more great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Bellville Butler Chapel (81 Mill Rd, Bellville, OH 44813). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the Bellville Cemetery (144 Church St, Bellville, OH 44813).
