He is survived by: his wife Shelli Jackson (Merritt); his children, Ryan Jackson (Heidi Kemp), Kasey Harris and Amanda Brandenburgh Harris; his grandchildren, Madisyn Nicole, Aiden James Jackson, Aurora Maryn, Gryffin Isaiah Pesta, Victoria and Abbey Brandenburgh; his siblings, James, Tim Jackson, David Reed (LaRena), Shawn Seckman, Kim Kirpatrick and Susan Sutton (Joe); his father-in-law Ellwood "Ladde" Merritt; his siblings-in-law, Vicki Scott, Cathy Merritt, Helayna Merritt, Stacey Strawn, Rhonda Howell (Bob), Todd Merritt (Penny) and Bruce Merritt; and his nieces, Justine Medley Jackson and Julie Scott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
