He is survived by: his son Eric Berry (Lindsay); his grandson Easton Berry; and his siblings, Robert "Herm" Schmitt, Rick Schmitt, Donny Schmitt, Danny Schmitt and Sandy McConnaughy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
