She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Israel and Emma Israel (Lewis); and her husband Donald "Dean" Mercer. She is survived by: her caregivers, Ken, Ron and Linda Bandy; and her siblings, Mary Fryfogle, Virginia Bandy, Lewis, Clyde and Delmar. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
