He was predeceased by: his parents, Gyles Blake and Roxie Blake (Gump). He is survived by: his wife Kay Blake (Snyder); his daughters, Cori Sands (Jeff) and Christy Compton (Bob); his grandchildren, Dean Blake, Amber Jones, Norresha Compton, Jessica Ruggles (Zach), Shayna Sands (Zach Milat) and Bobbie Compton (Ethan Oswald); and his brother David Blake (Marge).
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home (126 W Vermont Ave, Sebring, OH 44672). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Highland Memorial Park (264 S 12th St, Beloit, OH 44609).
He was especially proud of his contributions to aircraft maintenance, reflecting his commitment to both his country and his community.
