He is survived by: his wife Naomi Karlen (Goehring); his children, Sherry Stanley (Chuck) of Ocala, Darlene Woodruff of Highland Heights, Laurie Ronshak (Sam) of Lisbon and Gene Karlen (Ron Meinen) of Frenchtown; his grandchildren, Christian Stanley (Jessica) of Winter Springs, Jacob Stanley (Jordan) of Dothan, Karli Ronshak (Steven Walden) of Lisbon and Jenna Aron (Mihai) of Canfield, Ohio.; his great grandchildren, Sozo Stanley and Athena Walden; and his siblings, Denis Karlen (Barb) of Salem, Delmar Karlen (Brenda Smallwood) of Hanoverton and Linda Bandy (Ron) of Beloit, Ohio..
