With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita Ackerman Mayfield of Belpre, Ohio, who passed away on December 26, 2022 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Ackerman and Jennett Beardmore Ackerman (Jenny). She is survived by: her husband Timothy Mayfield; her stepdaughters, Amanda Johnston (Kelly) of Elsmere, KY and Elizabeth Dolson (Derrick) of California, MD; her grandson Graham Dolson; and her sister Theresa Wharton (Gary) of Athens. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family request that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley.
