We are sad to announce that, on December 28, 2023, at the age of 98, Charlene Bell of Belpre, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles R. Root and Dorothy Nolan Root; her husband Clinton A. Bell; her sons, David E. Amos and John C. Amos; and her siblings, Dorothy Mulligan, Jean Buckley and Robert Root.

She is survived by: her son Harold Amos (Connie) of Vincent; and her grandchildren, Cynthia Baker (Milton), Jeffrey Amos (Lori), Jae Amos (Marcia Brandstadt), Sean Amos (Charlene), Jinai Amos, Marc Amos (Amy) and Todd Amos (Melissa). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus Ohio at give.nationwidechildrens.org.
