She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl C. McDonald and Dorothy Shafer McDonald Cowdery; her husband Rev. Paul Carpenter; her children, Debra Harper (Joey Burge) and Jason Carpenter; her siblings, Emily Marie Hanshaw, Edith Grace Sullivan, Carl "Bud" McDonald and Bertha "Irene" Wiblin; and her stepfather John Cowdery.
She is survived by: her children, Lois F. Garner (Ralph), Charlotte K. Harper, Karen King (Doug), Michael Joyner (Rachel), Jessica Millisock, David Carpenter (Barb), JJ Carpenter, Dorothy Mann, Sam Carpenter (Christina), Joe Carpenter, Carolyn Enoch (John) and Patty Carpenter; and her siblings, Helen James, Bobbi Kelly (Lawrence), Loretta Striblin, Gary McDonald (Norma) and Carolyn "Pat" McDonald. She is also survived by many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
