He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Zimmer and Laura Zimmer; his wife Marcella Sue Zimmer; his daughter Carrie Lynn Buckley; his grandson Wyatt Buckley; and his grandparents, Lewis, Bertha Zimmer, Henry and Ella Gerken.
He is survived by: his children, John Zimmer (Debbie) and Gina Cochran; his grandsons, Johnny Zimmer (Tabitha), Brad Zimmer (Mollie) and Joshua Cochran; his sisters, Joan Zimmer of Marietta and Maxine Joy of Newport; his close friend Ruth Holbert; and his friends, Lee, Lynda Shutts and Josephine Wherry. He is also survived by 5 great grandsons, 2 great, great granddaughters.
