He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lilburn Whitt; his brother E. Jay Whitt; and his daughters, Megan and Debra Whitt. He is survived by: his mother Easter Faye Ward Hatfield of Williamson, WV.; his wife Mildred Whitt; his children, William Henry Whitt, Katelynn Whitt, Easter Hannah (Randy) of Ashland, KY, Angel Duty (Brad) of Parkersburg, WV, Jennifer Moyer (Kris) of Newark, Tiffany Whitt of Ohio and Deanna Blankenship of Williamson, WV; his brothers, Robert Whitt (Bessie), Larry Whitt and James Whitt (Patty); his close friends, Jeff Taylor, John Lipscomb, Clyde Willis, Dave Rockel, Leeroy and Bobby Adams; and his niece Brooklynn Stepp. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
