He was predeceased by: his parents, James Toncray and Erma Toncray; and his brother-in-law Donald Bartimus. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Snider Toncray; his children, Treasa Mackey of Lake Placid, FL, Erma Ramsburg (David) of Middleport, OH, Wendy Toncray of Belpre, OH, Tim Mackey of Belpre and Ira E. Toncray Jr. (Tiffani) of Belpre; his siblings, Ruth Ann Bartimus of Vincent, OH, Deborah Byrd (Jeff) of Parkersburg, WV, Ralph Slone (Katonda) of Belpre and Jimmy Wolfe (Tresa) of Belpre; and his grandchildren, Eion Mackey, Skylar Porter, Jordan Mackey, Josh Leasure, Hunner Leasure, Faith Starcher, Vanessa Caldwell, Ava Banky, Leona Arthurs, Isaiah Banky and Abagail Arthurs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
