It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Emerson Dowler of Belpre, Ohio, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Etsel and Beatrice Berneda Deem Dowler; his sister Marilyn Cunningham; and his brothers-in-law, Rod Stewart and Ronnie Digman.
He is survived by: his daughter Sunni T. Dils (David Wilson) of Parkersburg; his granddaughter Zoie Dils of Parkersburg; and his siblings, Charlene Digman of Perry, OH, Martha Stewart of Belpre and Larry Dowler (Judie) of Madison, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
