He was predeceased by : his mother Erma Steines Butz; and his stepmother Geraldine Butz. He is survived by : his children, Kaitlin Butz of Parkersburg, WV and Michael Butz (Charlotte) of Vienna, WV; and his brothers, Jan Butz of Camanche, IA, Joel Butz of Clinton, IA, Jerry Butz (Julie) of Nashville, TN and Jon Butz (Tammy) of Camanche, IA. He is also survived by several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and 16 special nieces and nephews.
