He was predeceased by: his wife Betty McElroy; his parents, Emilie McElroy and John McElroy; and his sister June McElroy Crable. He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Lori McElroy and Jennifer McElroy; his grandson Dr. Ian McElroy (Aleea Gray) of Akron, Ohio; and his daughters-in-law, Emilie McElroy of Brunswick, Maine and Abbie McElroy of Parkersburg.
