With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Harris Jr. of Belpre, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harris, Sr. and Betty June Harp. He is survived by: his children, John Harris III (Grace) of Greenbrier County, WV and April Gibson of Surprise, AZ; his sisters, Stella Johnson (Sherry) of Parkersburg, WV and Patsy Hornbeck (Bridgett) of Parkersburg, WV; and his grandchildren, Cynthia Bickford, Dexter Harris, Eric Gibson, Anthony Gibson, John Harris IV, Dakota Harris, Emily Harris and Timothy Goins. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
