He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Schimke and Carole Schimke (Woomer). He is survived by: his daughter Stacey of Belpre; his stepson John Hoy; his siblings, Greg Schimke (Vickie) of Minneapolis, MN, Brian Schimke (Janelle) of Kansas City, Missouri and Amy Raines (Allen) of Ripley; the mother of his child Regina; his grandson Enzo; and his cousin Mark Risch of Minneapolis, MN.. He is also survived by 8 nieces.
