He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Gribble and Hazel Velma Richards Burnside; and his siblings, Guy Burnside, Wallace Burnside Jr., Bernice Stephens, Norma Ross, Shirley Cookson, Janet Flowers, Larry Burnside and Gary Burnside.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Burnside; his daughters, Brenda Ankrom (Jeff) and Carrie Steele; his grandchildren, Kaley, Bailey and Emily; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Morgan, Nikolai, Karlee and Sylas; and his brother William Burnside.
