She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Early Barber and Ruth Dovenbarger Barber; her husband Jerry Mercer; her sons, Jim Mullen (Sue) and Jerry Mercer; and her siblings, John Barber (Pat), Tommy Barber, Wanda Fink (Gene) and Georgie Holbert (Tom). She was also cherished by two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews.
