She is survived by : her sons, Howard Bess (Karen) of Williamstown, WV and James Bess (Diana) of Anyor, SC; and her brother Charles Strickland of Keith, WV. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
