It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin John Holbert of Belpre, Ohio, born in Sandyville, West Virginia, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Warren and Manila Odessa Sprinkle Holbert; his wife Karoline Magdeline Holbert; and his brothers, James, Kenneth, Darrel, Donald and Paul Holbert.

He is survived by: his children, John Holbert Jr. of Walled Lake, MI and Tina Gray (Jeff) of Winchester, KY; his grandchildren, Karah, Erika, Adam, Kellie Holbert and Conner Gray; and his siblings, Ruth Ann Morehead, Ellen Fay Clark, Doris Brady, Dean Holbert (Jewell) and Robert Holbert.
