It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Okey W. Sheppard of Belpre, Ohio, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Okey W. Sheppard to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gettis Sheppard and Hazel Bailey Sheppard; and his siblings, Delbert, Herbert, Franklin, William, Samuel Sheppard, Dorthea Connolly and Evelyn Beckett.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline L. Jones Sheppard; his children, Brian K. Sheppard (Amy) of Hendersonville, TN, Jeanettee Wells (Mike) of Rapids City, SD, Alan Sheppard (Christy Newbanks) of Parkersburg, Julia Holbert (Kevin) of Sandyville and Barbara McGill of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Matthew Sheppard, Meagan Miller, Jena Wright, Mitchell Sheppard, Jill Ruskin and Zachary Moore; and his sister Ellen Tanner of Parkersburg. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
