He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Oesterle and Mary Catherine Oesterle; his wife Sondra Oesterle (Sturm); and his brother Earl John Oesterle II. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle E. McLendon (Eric) of Slate and Angela C. Maloney (Chad) of Belpre; his grandchildren, Dylan Reeder (Olivia), Caleb Reeder, Josh Fielder (Devin) and Lauren Burns (Emily); his great grandchildren, Luke, Logan Reeder, Tyler and Tiffany Fielder; his nephew Earl John "EJ" Oesterle II (Nicole); and his niece Elizabeth Oesterle (Dave Loudermilk).
Memorial donations may be made in his memory to Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
