He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Scott and Hilda Reeves Scott; and his siblings, Ruby Potts, Marion Scott and Mae Cooper.

He is survived by: his son Ronald Trubee (Judy) of Bentonville; his grandson Tracy Trubee (Stephanie) of Bentonville; his great grandchild Autumn Dugan (Ryan) of Indiana; and his great great grandchild Emilia Dugan.
