It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor T. Stitt (Berea, Ohio), who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard E. Loving; her children, Susan Stitt and Joseph Stitt (Terri); and her parents, Timothy Touhey and Wava Touhey.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Stitt, Carol Hudak (David), Leonard Stitt (Diane), Lesley Schoch (Ray), Marygrace Lenaburg (Terry), Bill Stitt (Shelley Tender) and Lenore Fox (Jerry); her grandchildren, Charlie Hammel (Rachel), Sarah Day (Jason), Kathleen Cagle (Chris), Rachel Metz, Andrew Hudak (Kerri), Leora Hudak (Samuel Eisenberg), Casey Hudak (Danya Morris), Nathan Stitt (Amanda), Matthew Kay (Kristhin), Amber Stitt (Diana), Jesse Schoch, Alyssa Schoch (Abram Yocom), Rebecca Alob (Rene), Daniel Schoch, Clay Lenaburg (Jenelle Madrid), Greta Lenaburg, Allie Lenaburg (Jon Lawrence), Kyle Knapik, Dana Cain (Matt), Kelsey Jackson (Jordan), Nora Cook (Sean), Erin Fox (Lisa), Tim Fox (Chelsea), Joseph Stitt and Carter Stitt (Allie); and her great grandchildren, Adeline, Soheila, Luke, Alex, Sylvie, Leah, Lukas, Matthew, Joel, Jonas, Vincent, Judah, Asher, Jack, Liliana, Orion, Rowan, Reese, Morgan, Lenny, Ellie, James and Olena. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to The Cleveland Food Bank in memory of Eleanor Stitt.
