He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Wagner (Richens) and John G. Wagner; his wife Margaret Watson Wagner (Mairs); his sister Alice Prahst; and his brother-in-law Michael Kirschner.
He is survived by: his siblings, MaryAnn Wagner, Joanne Wagner, Karen "Kitty" Kirschner and Dale Wagner (Chris); his children, Scott Wagner (Theresa Smith), Mark Wagner (Kim Dell-Wagner), Susan Snow (Michael) and Julie Colella (Brian); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Wagner, Zachary Wagner, Audrey Snow, Matthew Colella and Marin Colella. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Baker Kensinger Funeral Home (206 Front St, Berea, OH 44017). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
