He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hood Epperson; his daughters, Amanda Epperson and Rebecca Stanfield (Dewyatt); his grandchildren, Jaquelyn (Matt) and Kirsten Cleavelin; his daughter Isabella; and his nephew Scott Eldridge Walker.
