She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Samons and Beulah Samons. She is survived by: her children, Shelly Smith (Johnny) of Apison, Tammy Young of Berlin Heights and Derek Young (Becky) of Painesville; her grandchildren, Lydia, Aliza, Bennett, Brody, David Stanford, Amanda Ball (Jordan), Hope Paquelet (Andrew), Alexis Gaffney (Eric), Clint Young and Walker Young; her great grandchildren, Titus, Teegan, River, Rowan, Wrenley and Millie; and her siblings, Jayson Samons (Sharon), Judy Lafferty, Jill Haston (Terry) and Norma Emery (Ron).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Firelands Baptist Church (12320 OH-113, Wakeman, OH 44889).
