He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Eckel and Marguarite Eckel (Dick); his brothers, David and Daniel Eckel; his brothers-in-law, Bruce Wilson, Joe Minnick, Bill Allman and Jerry Stolle; Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Guinn); his children, Chelsey Meagrow (Kyle) and Zachary Eckel (Keli); his sisters, Sister Diana Lynn Eckel, Darlene Minnick and Debbie Wilson; the mother of his children Brenda Bahnsen; his grandchildren, Coltyn, Olivia Meagrow, Grant, Carson and Miles Eckel; and his pet Casey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
