He was predeceased by: his parents, John Erb and Alta Erb (Mullet); and his grandson Bryce. He is survived by: his wife Naomi; his children, Marion Erb (Mae) of Winesburg, Ruby Shoup (Jerry) of Berllin, John Erb (Shannon Burky) of Sugarcreek and Firman Erb of Fredericksburg; his grandchildren, Kayla Yoder (Matt), Shawn Erb (Bailey), Michael Shoup (Allison), Garret Shoup, Lexi Erb, Amy Erb, Cameron Erb and Derrek Erb; his great grandchildren, Olive, Noah and Maverick; and his siblings, Lizzie Ann Miller (Christ), Delbert Erb (Marie), Mary Ellen Miller (Daniel), Earl Erb (Freda), Viola Yoder (Ivan), Martha Troyer (Levi) and Norman Erb (Norma Jean).
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Longenecker Evangelical Anabaptist Fellowship (2200 Township Rd 606, Dundee, OH 44624). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
