He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Quehl and Francis Quehl (Schmitt); his wife Rose Quehl; his daughter Mary Francis; and his siblings, Gloria Oelker, Roger Quehl Jr., Arthur Quehl, Walter "Mac" Quehl and Robert Quehl.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Friedrich (Keith), Connie Fishback, Charles Quehl Jr. (Stephanie), Barbara Boots (Mike), Patsy Weisbach (Dave) and Margie Hinson (Rick); and his siblings, Vicki Habig, Donald Quehl and Mary Jeanne Carpenter. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Charles's memory, to St. Bernadette School, 1453 Locust Lake Road, Amelia, OH 45102.
