He was predeceased by : his parents, Logan Barger and Virgie Barger; and his great grandchild Elliette. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Barger; his children, Ricky Barger (Diana) and Tina Ladenburger (Roger); his grandchildren, Ethan Barger, Samantha Wegman (Sean) and Haley Rowan (Jeremey); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Steele, Ella and Ryder; and his siblings, Randy Barger (Martha), Allene Angles, Donnie Barger (Luella), Demera Barger (Nancy), Ecial Barger (Carol), Danny Barger (Donna), Marchia Hall and Paul Barger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (315 W Plane St, Bethel, OH 45106). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
