He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Lucas and Wilma Lucas (Crum); his son Darrell Lucas; and his brothers, Edwin Lucas and Bobby Hall.

He is survived by: his sons, Mark Lucas (Sherry), Kevin Lucas (Marcia) and Darin Lucas; his grandchildren, Jason Lucas (Carrie), Bethany Cooley (Nate), Jessica Haythorn (Steve), Sonya Lucas, Tiffany Lucas, Steven Lucas (Megan), Morgan Lucas, Michael Norris (Cara), Josh Lucas (Allison), Lindsey Faini (Joe) and Jared Gossett; and his siblings, Eleanor Williamson, Beverly Datkuliak, Larry Lucas, Dwight Lucas (Penny) and Carolyn Stephen (Robert). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
