He is survived by: his wife Beverly Cooper (Haynes); his daughter Carla Seaton (Dan) of Anacortes, WA; his grandchildren, Austin and Aster of Washington; his sons, Dane Cooper (Lori Smith) of Dayton, OH and Dr. Clayton Cooper of Oxford, OH; and his brother Jim Daugherty (Edie) of Warren, OH. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research.
