He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Ellis (Noland); his children, Carole Walters (Tom) of Marietta, Dudley Ellis of Beverly and Duane Ellis (Alice) of Watertown; and his grandchildren, Preston Walters, Brittany Walters, Clasey Jarvis (Kurt), Haley Ellis (Anthony), Justin Ellis (Kaila), Joshua Ellis (Ashley) and Meagan Tompkins (Randy). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
