He was predeceased by : his parents, Eulavene Ratliff and Jack Ratliff; his sister-in-law Judy French Ratliff; his parents-in-law, Mary Alice and Warren Skidmore; and his siblings-in-law, Ronnie, Larry Skidmore and Becky Skidmore Riepenhoff.

He is survived by : his wife Penny Skidmore Ratliff; his daughters, Kelly, Katie Ratliff (Matty Whitted) and Poppy; and his granddaughter Olivia Ratliff.
