He is survived by: his son Rodney Shepherd (Paula Webb); his sisters, Freedia Bowles (Robert) and Sylvia Fannery; his grandchildren, Makayla Jones (Dakota), Alexandria Logan, Logan Lee Shepherd, Melanie Jolee Shepherd and Brayden Lee Shepherd; and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Matthew, Keegan Clarkson and Hollie Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
