It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vanessa Wright of Bidwell, Ohio, who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kahl and Carole Crocker Borden; her husband Kenneth Wright; her sister Wendy Borden; and her nieces, Misti Pleasant and Dalisa Borden.

She is survived by: her daughter Tamika Pleasant; her grandchildren, Kabria Pleasant and Ka'Von Pleasant; her great grandchild Ahsan Armstong; her siblings, Tom Claytor of Gallipolis, Ohio, Eddie Borden (Tracy) of Gallipolis, Ohio, Sheila Borden of Gallipolis, Ohio, Susan Pleasant of South Point, Ohio, Lisa Vinson (Glendon) of South Point, Ohio, Dawne Borden and Donna Borden; Brenda King, Melissa Coleman, Geri Cain, Chris Ball, Michelle Smith, Freddie Logan, Sandra Mitchell and Melanie Howard. She is also survived by one stepson, four stepdaughters, four step grandchildren.
