He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Barr and Maggie Surber Barr; his siblings, Paul, Kenneth Barr, Mary Barr Ward and Ruth Barr Allison; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Barr, Homer Ward, Barbara Barr, Violet, Bill Day, Raymond Robie, Marvin Robie, Bob Queen and David Briggs.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Jean Robie Barr; his children, Debbie Beam (David) of Xenia, Ohio and Billy Barr (Jacki) of Winona Lake, Indiana; his granddaughters, Sarah Kinnison (Travis) of Xenia, Rachel Dean (Joseph) of Cedarville, Bethany Hessel (Ross) of Indianapolis and Brittany Moerchen (Jeff) of Warsaw, Indiana; his great grandchildren, Maisy, Eliza, Laney, Norah Kinnison, Abram, Avalynn, Canaan, Calvary Dean, Sadie, Ainsley, Levi Hessel, Coy and Wynn Moerchen; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Allison of Bidwell, Carrol Robie of Bidwell, Keith, Cheryl Robie of Gallipolis, Marguerite Robie of Bidwell and Betty Robie Briggs of San Diego. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
