He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald James Stoops, Sr. and Icie Jane Stoops; and his siblings, Dorothy Jean Trickey, Donald James Stoops, Jr., William "Billy" Jay Stoops, Sr. and Patricia JoAnn Osborne.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Stoops; his children, Brian Stoops (Brittney) of Jefferson, Georgia, Jennifer Stoops of Blanchester, Ohio, Courtney Sanders (Brad) of Blanchester, Ohio, Tyler Stoops of Somerset, Kentucky and Taylor Stoops (Amberlie) of Destin, Florida.; his grandchildren, Billy Jack Tripplet, Kendra Humphries, Leland Jace Stoops, Emma Stoops, Charlotte Stoops, Joanna Marie Sanders, Delaney Lee Sanders, Clayton James Gregory, Jaxson Bruce Stoops and Charlee Mae Stoops; and his sister Pamela Rasnic. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many cherished friends.
