He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Mider and Wanda Mider (Siegler); his brother Mark Mider; his niece Brandi Tell; and his siblings-in-law, Paula White and Colin Christensen.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Mider (White); his children, Jamie LeGros (Alan), Julie Valentine and Michael D Mider II; his siblings, Mitch Mider (Sharon), Matthew Mider (Kelly-Sue), Martin John Mider (Tammy), Melinda McGill (Sean), Melissa Dunkle (Eric) and Michelle Amy Coleman (Howie); his sisters-in-law, Sandra Christensen and Debra White; his stepchildren, David Alzayer (April), Kimberly Zeinner (Timothy) and Kristopher Alzayer; his grandsons, Jordan Valentine and Austin Mider; and his stepgrandchildren, Shelby, Jake Alzayer, Luke, Caden and Evan Zeinner.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home - Goshen Chapel (1668 OH-28, Goshen, OH 45122). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Graceland Memorial Gardens (5989 Deerfield Rd, Milford, OH 45150).
