He was predeceased by: his parents, Osa Crase and Virginia Lillian Crase; his wife Lula Mae Crase; his son Ray Crase, Jr.; his son-in-law Thomas Ehling; and his grandson Joseph Crase.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia Ehling, Katherine Lynn Adkins, Nannette Gay Baker (Terry Traurig) and Joseph Darrell Crase (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Kenny, Steve, Mitch, Johnathan, Courtney, Steffany, Tiffany, Jessica, Brittany, Grayson, Ryan, Nathan, Jared, Jenna, Connor, Dusty and Rebecca. He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends.
