She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Lawrence; her daughter Christel "Dawn" Jones; her parents, Herman Jones and Stella Jones; and her siblings, Sim Jones, Algaria Patterson, Ellamae Lawrence and Alviena Parker.

She is survived by: her children, James Lawrence (Kendra), Shawn Lawrence (Karla) and Elissa Lawrence; her grandchildren, Shawn Lawrence Jr., Samantha Lawrence and Kayla Mockabee (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Lyla and Rhett; and her siblings, Herman Wayne Jones (Pam), Sally Koons and Amy Ahrmann (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved extended family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made toward the funeral expenses.
