He was predeceased by: his mother Nora McCoy (Mann); and his brother Tony McCoy. He is survived by: his father William R. McCoy of Michigan; and his siblings, William Earl McCoy of Virginia, Garland of Michigan, Larry of Michigan, Dennis of Michigan, Rufus McCoy of Michigan, Brenda Barringer of Missouri, Louetta Lemay of Ohio and Peggy Nead of Michigan.
