She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Schrecongost and Mary Schrecongost (Lynn); and her former life partner Joseph E. Harrigan Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Mary Lou Hasselback (Dave), Peggy Eads (Todd), Julie Lampe (Rick) and Joseph Harrigan (Sharon); her siblings, Marylou Schrecongost and Robert Schrecongost (Patricia); and her grandchildren, Mike, Katie, Brian, Cassie, Luke, Molly, Grace and Xavier.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Rita's School for the Deaf or to JDRF (Junior Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
