He was predeceased by: his parents, Despina Sakelos (Valen) and James J Sakelos; and his sister Mary Sakelos (Barnhart). He is survived by: his siblings, Irene Sakelos (Matt Manson) of Okeana and Nick Sakelos (Mark Bowers) of Goudargues, France.; his wife Kathy Fischer; and his children, Maria (Mitchell) and Jacob (Kelly).
