She was predeceased by : her husband Robert G. Ruter; and her grandchildren, Jen Rentz and Mark Ruter. She is survived by : her children, Debbie Reeves, Dave Ruter (Kim), Russ Ruter (Mary) and Mike Ruter (Missy); her grandchildren, Melissa, Matt, Alex (Bella), Jacob (Bekah), Lindsay and Dylan; and her great grandchildren, Conner, Sydnee and Madisyn.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Frederick Funeral Home (2553 Banning Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45239). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Crown Hill Memorial Park (11825 Pippin Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231).
