She was predeceased by : her parents, Logan Mitchell and Sofie Mitchell (Wilkins); her former life partner Harold Foster; her husband Billy W. Maxwell Sr.; her son Douglas H. Foster; and her stepson Tom Maxwell.

She is survived by : her daughter Debra; her son-in-law Gary Dingey; her grandsons, Jason Dingey (Jennifer) and Matthew Dingey (Heather); her stepchildren, Carol Bates (John) and Billy W. Maxwell Jr.; her nephew Derrick; and also Alyssa.
