With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edwin Jay Rayner of Blue Rock, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Edwin is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Edwin's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rayner and Edith Alexander Rayner; and his mother-in-law Joyce Vaughan. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Hall Rayner; his son Brandon Rayner; his sister Glenna Mitchell; his brothers-in-law, Shane Vaughan (Jennifer) and Shawn Vaughan (Keela); and his close friend Matt Carnes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Snouffer Funeral Home (1150 Military Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Snouffer Chapel (1150 Military Rd, Zanesville, OH 43701).
