She was predeceased by: her parents, William Parkins and Katherine Parkins (Steegman); her spouse Thomas Stechschulte; her daughter Janine Bassitt; and her siblings, Douglas Parkins, Jon Parkins and Sharon Marshall.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Bassitt (Mindy) of Bluffton, Meg Wyss (Todd) of Ada, Lisa Harrod (Denny Haferd) of Indian Lake and Janelle Wolford (Fred) of Bluffton; her stepchildren, Keith Stechschulte (Deana) of Windsor, Nathan Stechschulte (Janelle) of Atlanta, Georgia, Michael Stechschulte (Amy) of Columbus Grove and Ann Alanyak (Ed) of Dayton, Ohio; and her siblings, Edward Parkins (Lynette) of Bluffton, Phillip Parkins of Lima, William Parkins (Christopher VanSchoyck) of Beaverdam and Rebecca Franck of Shreve, Ohio.. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
